Lipstick selecting tips, 9 ways to select a lipstik

custom lip

Every lipstick has its characteristic complement with trait of a person. How do we know if a lipstick suit us perfectly based on its color, texture and brand? Test and trials are always the basic of learning and understanding. Before you manage to know your favorite lipstick, here are some quick tips for you to pick up a suitable lipstick and to apply it nicely:
Make Up
1. Pick the most attractive color

If you have great lip shape with nice white teeth and you would like to be the focus in an event, go for the most attractive lipstick color among rolls of lipsticks displayed on the shelve.

2. Try it yourself!

A lipstick color might look good on the shelve or catalog but not on your lips. So, try it before you pay for it for the first time.

3. Choose the most ordinary color

Looking at so many colors of shelved lipsticks, sometimes you may get confused. Then, why not choosing the most ordinary or unattractive one? It would look natural and comfortable on your lips. Believe it or not? Try yourself then.

4. Don't simply pink up your lips

During autumn and winter, skin color may turn yellowish or pale brown, don't go for pinkish shade then. Your skin would look more yellow and ill. Alternatively, warm color range matches well.

5. Match your clothes

Not only skin color, lipstick color has to be matched with your clothing color. If you're wearing black or white series of colors, you would look elegance with red or purplish red lipstick.

6. Nude lips

Remember, if you like to get perfect nude lips, please ensure that other parts of your face are having healthy reddish color and your eyes look bolder such that you look more lively and younger. If you were to attend a grand dinner or glamorous event, just go all out with your eyes make up. A pair of smoky eyes perhaps

7. You may need a lip liner

If your lips shape is not clear, use lip liner to bring the shape up. However, be aware of the liner's shade. Never use a lip liner darker than your lip color or avoid red or brown shades of lip liner. I'm sure you don't like your lips to look circled up when your lipstick is kissed off or eaten up You may change the shape of your lips as you wish with a liner in hand too.

8. Keep your lipstick color lasting

You may put a dab of foundation on your lips before applying lipstick. But some people don't really like the gloppy look of lip color resulted. A sheer swipe of eyelid primer is preferred instead to keep your lipstick staying on longer. You may neutralize your natural lip color with a a small amount of base prior to your lipstick application too. Natural and contemporary look of lips is expected.

9. Wear different shades from time to time

Yes, try to change your lipstick color from time to time. If you don't get bored with your lip colors, what about people around you? Cheer up your friends with surprises at times.

Vitamin D deficiency linked to high BP

People with lower levels of vitamin D are more likely to have stiffer arteries and an inability of blood vessels to relax, according to a new study.
The findings by the scientists at the Emory/Georgia Tech Predictive Health Institute add to evidence that lack of vitamin D can lead to impaired vascular health, contributing to high blood pressure and the risk of cardiovascular disease.Study participants who increased their vitamin D levels were able to improve vascular health and lower their blood pressure.

Ibhar Al Mheid, a cardiovascular researcher at the University conducted the study with Arshed Quyyumi, professor of medicine and director of the Emory Cardiovascular Research Institute.

The 554 participants in the study were Emory or Georgia Tech employees –average age 47 and generally healthy who are taking part in the Center for Health Discovery and Well Being, part of the Emory/Georgia Tech Predictive Health Institute.

The average level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (a stable form of the vitamin reflecting diet as well as production in the skin) in participants' blood was 31.8 nanograms per milliliter.

In this group, 14 per cent had 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels considered deficient, or less than 20 nanograms per milliliter, and 33 per cent had levels considered insufficient, less than 30 nanograms per milliliter.

The researchers monitored the ability of participants' blood vessels to relax by inflating and then removing a blood pressure cuff on their arms. To allow blood to flow back into the arm, blood vessels must relax and enlarge – a change that can be measured by ultrasound.

The researchers also made other measurements of smaller blood vessels and examined the resistance to blood flow imposed by the arteries.

"Even after controlling for factors such as age, weight and cholesterol, people with lower vitamin D levels still had stiffer arteries and impaired vascular function," said Al Mheid.

"We found that people with vitamin D deficiency had vascular dysfunction comparable to those with diabetes or hypertension," he said.

Participants whose vitamin D levels increased over the next six months, either from dietary supplements or ample sun exposure, tended to improve their measures of vascular health and had lower blood pressure.

Forty-two study participants with vitamin D insufficiency whose levels later went back to normal had an average drop in blood pressure of 4.6 millimeters mercury.

The study was presented at the annual American College of Cardiology meeting in New Orleans.

Eating strawberries helps prevent cancer

believeScientists have found that eating strawberries may be a way to help people at risk of esophageal cancer protect themselves from the disease.
Researchers at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC - James) and researchers in China jointly conducted the study. The study is the first-ever collaborative Ohio State cancer clinical trial to be conducted in China.

"We concluded from this study that six months of strawberry treatment is safe and easy to consume. In addition, our preliminary data suggests that strawberries decreased histological grade of precancerous lesions and reduced cancer-related molecular events," said Tong Chen, lead author, and assistant professor at Ohio State.

Previously research by Chen and colleagues have found that freeze-dried strawberries significantly inhibited tumour development in the esophagus of rats.

Based on these results, the researchers embarked on a phase Ib clinical trial in China to investigate the effects of freeze-dried strawberries on patients with esophageal precancerous lesions.

"We found that daily consumption of strawberries suppressed various biomarkers involved in esophageal carcinogenesis, including cell proliferation, inflammation and gene transcription," said Chen.

Each of the 36 study participants ate 60 grams of freeze-dried strawberries daily for six months. The researchers obtained biopsy specimens before and after the strawberry consumption.

The results showed that 29 out of 36 participants experienced a decrease in histological grade of the precancerous lesions during the study.

"Our study is important because it shows that strawberries may slow the progression of precancerous lesion in the esophagus. Strawberries may be an alternative, or may work together with other chemopreventive drugs, for the prevention of esophageal cancer. But, we will need to test this in randomized placebo-controlled trials in the future," he said.

The finding is to be presented during a press briefing at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) 102nd meeting 2011 in Orlando, Fla.

Sex as a Beauty Remedy, Headache Reliever, Mood Booster and Much More…

Sex as a Headache and Natural Beauty Remedies TipHow is your sex love? Study shows that dark chocolate, light, exercises, laughter, AND sex can trigger the release of endorphins which can help us get in a better mood.

I would like to share with you an abstract from the article about benefits of sex written by Paula Saardchit, Pleasure Expert and Party Consultant:

- Sex is a beauty remedies treatment. Scientific tests find that when women make love they produce heightened amounts of the hormone estrogen, which makes your hair shiny and your skin smooth.

- Gentle, relaxed lovemaking reduces your chances of suffering dermatitis, skin rashes and blemishes. The sweat produced cleanses the pores and makes your skin glow.

- Lovemaking can burn up those calories you piled on during that romantic dinner. Sex is one of the safest sports you can take up. It stretches and tones up just about every muscle in the body. It’s more enjoyable than swimming 20 laps and you don’t need special sneakers.

- Sex is an instant cure for mild depression. It releases endorphins into the bloodstream, producing a sense of euphoria and leaving you with a feeling of well-being.

- The more sex you have, the more you will be offered. The sexually active body gives off greater quantities of chemicals called pheromones. These subtle sex perfumes drive the opposite sex crazy.

- Sex is the safest tranquilizer in the world. It is ten times more effective than valium.

- Kissing each day will keep the dentist away. Kissing encourages saliva to wash food from the teeth and lowers the level of the acid that causes decay thus preventing plaque build-up.

- Sex actually relieves headaches. A lovemaking session can release the tension that restricts blood vessels in the brain (there goes the classic “I have a headache” excuse).

- A lot of lovemaking can unblock a stuffy nose. Sex is a natural antihistamine. It can help combat asthma and hay fever. Read more.
