"Yesterday we were told that our performances were called off, and in the morning it's informed that the show is on tomorrow. "I don't deny I have done the scenes in the past where I did things that I wasn't comfortable. And in any case, `Boom' and the kissing scenes are all over the internet", states the hottest downloaded Bollywood babe on the net.

The film had some hot lip locking scenes between Gulshan Grover and Katrina, who was a newbie that time. Apparently the hot scenes were removed from the film, when her than beau Salman Khan put pressure on the makers of the film. Does she attribute this sudden but unpleasant development to any specific reason at this point in her career and life? Is someone trying to make some quick buck out of her success or is there a purposeful strategy to malign her?

"Honestly I wouldn't know. I have never interpreted people's intentions. As it is the makers have issued a statement today to the media. And they have denied doing anything like this," clarifies Katrina.

The photo has been morphed on the cover of a famous men's magazine for the 'Annual 2011' edition. But when we contacted the actress, she was completely shocked and denied shooting for the mag. She is now taking legal action against those responsible for this. She told us, "First Sonakshi and then me... When I heard there was a picture of me in a bikini on a magazine cover, I thought someone was being mistaken for me because I haven't done a shoot like this. But I was shocked when I saw it. I will be taking proper legal action against the people who are responsible for this."

The two aren't the first to suffer the bane of morphed pictures that make their way online. In 2009, actress Celina Jaitly had filed a legal case against two websites – a gadgets blog and a Bollywood portal – for uploading obscene morphed picture of hers online. A magazine, in 2006, had carried morphed pictures of South Indian star Khushboo in a red transparent bikini, which had resulted in the actress filing a police complaint against the magazine.

Taking a break from the shoots, Omi decided to shoot off with his wife to experience white water rafting in Rotorua and even tried the Auckland Sky Jump

Omi says, “Filming for Players in New Zealand was a dream come true. Our first location, Wellington, really grew on us as it was big enough to explore, but small enough to not feel lost in. Although it is known as Windy Wellington, I actually enjoyed the weather. The small quaint shops and little streets really promoted us to walk around and explore. And we were lucky enough to celebrate Abhishek Bachchan’s birthday during the Rugby Sevens victory party that happened all night on the streets. That was quite a night! In Auckland we visited the Casino and got to go to some really nice beaches. New Zealand is such a nice country that it's hard to keep focused on work.

When asked if his wife shares his enthusiasm for adventure sports, he replied, “My wife, Minal, is a bigger thrill seeker than me. We have tried skydiving in Hawaii, waterskiing in Jamaica, and Scuba diving in Tahiti. But New Zealand definitely has a lot to offer us, so we will have to come back for more.

Vidya’s Daring U-Curve

Vidya Balan burst onto the scene as a breath of fresh air with her very Indian look in Parineeta, reminiscent of the quiet dignity of Meena Kumari and the playful innocence of Jaya 'Guddi' Bachchan. Her understated portrayal of a middle class girl weathering personal storms and heartbreaks brought back something that was missing in Bollywood for a long time - grace. It's common knowledge that heroines in mainstream Bollywood either need familial backing/clout or a sugar daddy to be cast as the leading lady, or be ready to pull a bare-and-dare act in their debut. But Parineeta was a dream debut for her in every sense of the word.

From thereon, however, it's been a mixed bag - some terrible choices that she must have signed in haste opposite leading men who either looked like cherubs or gummy bears. Her style/fashion sense has been heavily panned, too, both onscreen and off screen. Leaving behind the nightmares of romancing Shahid Kapur and starring in movies whose names were fatally attracted to semi-vowels, she bounced back with an award-winning role in Paa and even brought full-sleeved blouses back to fashion.

After those disastrous couple of years where she was everything from frump to blimp, she's made some smart choices in experimenting with her looks within the boundaries she's set for herself, with some help from designer friend Sabyasachi - the bespectacled Plain Jane in No One Killed Jessica, the come-hither coquette in Ishqiya, and now, if rumours are to be believed, sporting 'petticoats' and 'tank tops' in Dirty Picture, based on yesteryear vamp Silk Smitha. Is her career graph doing a 180-degree turn? Bollywood demands that its starlets prove their mettle by wearing revealing clothes first before they're allowed to play roles that actually demand that they be clothed.

With Vidya, this is either a well-calculated risk or a supremely stupid step. Seeing that she's carved a niche for herself both in the looks and acting department, will this change do wonders to her career? Or will it take her back to square one?

Here is a bad news for die-hard Deepika Padukone fans. This sultry siren is all set to break many a hearts and move to London. Work apparently is taking her away from her fans.

Deepika is currently working in three movies and that’s what is taking her to London's cooler climes. She beats the heat with Rohit Dhawan's ‘Desi Boyz’, Rajnikanth's ‘Rana’ and Homi Adjania's untitled project with Saif Ali Khan.

The only relief is that that she will make her appearances during the IPL season. Although Deepika is going to be super busy for next three months, she intends to come back as and when her schedules will allow her.

Sadly, she won’t be here for the release of ‘Dum Maaro Dum’, from which her item number is making waves.

Sonakshi Sinha wants to prove that she is truly ‘Dabangg’ when it comes to her career. Brushing aside rumours that she wants to refrain from doing item numbers, the actress came out saying that she is not scared of doing them. The 23-year-old, who has shown her dancing expertise on stage at various award shows earlier this year, revealed that she has no problems in joining the likes of Katrina Kaif, Malaika Arora Khan and Mallika Sherawat by doing an item number, but she has to be comfortable in doing so.

"For me, when I did stage shows, I was wearing what I was comfortable in and the moves that I was doing were also what I was comfortable doing. So all depends on comfort. If I am ok with whatever I am offered, then I might just take it up. I'm not averse to it," Sonakshi said.

The hottest debutante of 2010 has however laid down rules for herself on screen – no kissing scenes and no bikinis. But in a day and age, when showing skin has almost become mandatory for heroines, Sona is getting plum offers on her own terms. She will be seen in Joker with Akshay Kumar next and is also a part of Race 2 with Saif.
