Jordana Brewster Biography

The beautiful Jordana Brewster was born on April 26th, 1980 in Panama City, Panama. She comes from a Brazilian background, though, she was raised in London, England until the age of six. Soon after, she would move back to her native Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she stayed for the next four years. She ended up moving again to the Manhattan, NY which is where she began her acting career.

Jordana Brewster studied at Sacred Heart before moving on to the New York Professional Children’s School. But it wasn’t until her teenage years when she started making a name for herself in the world of entertainment. She started off in daytime soap operas when she appeared in such big name shows as All My Children as well as As The World Turns in which she played Nikki Munson for three years.

Jordana continued with the TV scene as she co-starred in The 60’s which was an NBC mini-series.

She didn’t hit the big screens until 1998 when she appeared in her first film ever, The Faculty as Delilah Profitt. Although, she still wasn’t known to many after that.

It actually wasn’t until she appeared as Mia Toretto in the blockbuster film The Fast and the Furious in 2001 which led to her instant Hollywood stardom.

Despite her success in the entertainment business, she continued to attend Yale University.

She has been married to Andrew Form, who is a movie producer, since May of 2007.
